Rashawnda "Sug" Walker, Psy.D., PLPC
I am from Niagara Falls, NY. My greatest passion is being a mother of five children and a wife. My favorite past time is traveling and spending quality time with my nucleus. I have traveled to over 23 countries, with my favorite being France. My favorite actor is Denzel Washington (whew, I love me some Denzel!) and my favorite show is Law and Order SVU. I’m a Harry Potter fan and I am a member of the Hufflepuff house. I am a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical). Additionally, I have my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and I am currently a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I have been a counselor for seven years and my passion is helping to guide people towards a place of healing and fostering resilience in marriage and family relationships. I have experience with a wide range of mental health disorders, including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I work with all ages from children to adults and am developing a newfound interest in conducting psychological evaluations.
.
Through The Clinical Cookout, my goal is to break the mental chains surrounding seeking help from a professional and show that the mental health career field can be ethnically dynamic and diverse.
