E12 - Step Up or Step Back

Step-parents... You may be one, have one, or know someone who has one. The relationship between a step-parent and a child can be complicated by so many factors. Is the step-parent allowed to discipline the child? Do they have the same rights as a biological parent? Does this affect the child’s mental health? What about the mental health of the adults involved? The Aunties link up once again to discuss a topic that is common in our community. Tune in as we provide our own perspectives and introduce the perspectives of a stepmother and stepfather who have had both positive and negative experiences.
